Deliver quality teller service through accurate and efficient transaction processing while projecting a professional image.
Role location is Shaikh Khalifa Energy Complex Branch.
Key accountabilities
- Process cash, transfer, payment, standing order, foreign currency, cheque, and other counter transactions according to operational policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with Treasury on rates for VIP and high-net-worth customers when centralized telegraphic transfers are involved.
- Serve Private Banking customers at separate counters and process other counter services as introduced.
- Cross-sell or refer prospective customers’ product inquiries to Sales staff.
- Support dual custody of branch vault cash and security stationery; assist with dual-control activities.
- Complete cash reconciliation, balancing, end-of-day balancing, and filing.
- Process centralized activities according to branch operations centralization projects.
Specialist knowledge and skills
- Knowledge of ADIB retail banking products and services and operational policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations, risks, and Central Bank of the UAE regulations.
- General awareness of local competitors and fair knowledge of service standards and cross-selling.
- Computer skills.
Previous experience
- At least two months of experience or training as a teller in a banking environment or at ADIB Academy.
