The role prepares quantities and cost estimates, coordinates tender documents, evaluates quotations, and follows up on authority approvals.
Responsibilities
- Handle quantity surveying, estimation, tendering, cost analysis, and authority coordination.
- Review construction drawings for discrepancies, missing details, and coordination issues.
- Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, cost breakdowns, pricing schedules, and estimates for tenders, variations, additional works, and proposals.
- Support monitoring of project costs, budgets, quantities, and expenditure.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations; compare technical and commercial terms and recommend options.
- Maintain market rates, supplier information, and cost databases.
- Prepare complete technical and commercial tender submissions and submit them within required deadlines.
- Prepare authority applications and documentation for Trakhees, Dubai Municipality, DDA, DEWA, Civil Defense, and other applicable authorities.
- Follow up on submissions, approvals, inspections, and comments; coordinate responses and resubmissions and maintain trackers.
- Maintain organized records and provide technical and commercial support to the Project Manager and project team.
Requirements
- At least five years of relevant UAE experience in technical engineering, quantity surveying, estimation, tendering, or construction.
- Skills in quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, cost estimation and analysis, supplier/subcontractor evaluation, and authority coordination.
Pay
- AED 5,000–7,000 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person in Dubai, UAE.
