Aluminum Engineer
Role Overview
Coordinates, plans, supervises, and executes aluminum and glazing work for building construction projects.
Ensures façade systems, aluminum doors and windows, curtain walls, and other installations meet approved drawings, specifications, authority requirements, quality standards, and schedules.

Ensures façade systems, aluminum doors and windows, curtain walls, and other installations meet approved drawings, specifications, authority requirements, quality standards, and schedules.
Responsibilities
- Reviews project drawings, façade details, specifications, BOQs, and contract requirements.
- Prepares and reviews shop and fabrication drawings, material schedules, and installation details.
- Coordinates technical issues with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other disciplines.
- Prepares quantity take-offs, estimates, BOQs, and cost assessments.
- Prepares submittals, data sheets, samples, method statements, and inspection and test plans.
- Coordinates suppliers and manufacturers on availability, specifications, fabrication, and delivery.
- Reviews quotations and supports procurement decisions.
- Monitors fabrication, delivery, and installation; supervises façade and aluminum system installation.
- Checks installation, alignment, sealing, waterproofing, anchoring, finishing, and interfaces with other trades.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of relevant aluminum, glazing, and façade experience.
- High-rise, luxury residential, or commercial project experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of aluminum profiles, curtain walls, glazing, hardware, sealants, fixing systems, and installation methods.
- Can read architectural and shop drawings, façade details, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and relevant façade design or coordination software.
- Knowledge of QA/QC, site safety, and façade testing and commissioning.
Compensation
- AED 5,000–9,000 per month.
