SITE FACADE ENGINEER

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Supervise facade installation and coordinate work with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other disciplines.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical details; inspect curtain walls, cladding, glazing, windows, doors, and other facade systems.
• Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, deliveries, measurements, and installation requirements; report progress and maintain records.
• Conduct inspections, prepare inspection requests and quality documentation, and resolve technical issues with project and engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with approved materials, quality standards, project specifications, and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate testing, mock-ups, snagging, rectification, and handover activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering, Facade Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant facade construction site-execution experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of facade systems and installation, including curtain walls, aluminum cladding, glazing, stone cladding, metal works, waterproofing, and facade interfaces.
• Ability to interpret shop drawings, IFC drawings, architectural details, specifications, and method statements.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and main contractors.
• Knowledge of facade materials, tolerances, testing, quality requirements, site inspections, and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC requirements and construction safety procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; other engineering or design software is advantageous.
• Experience on high-rise, commercial, or major construction projects is preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 6,000–8,000 per month.

• Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
