Define new features, enhancements, and customer solutions for Amazon S3, a cloud storage service.
Work with customers, partners, product teams, software development managers, engineers, and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop business requirements and user stories through frequent direct customer and partner contact.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define, execute, and roll out features.
- Bring services and features to market, including beta programs and work with product marketing and industry analysts.
- Present solutions and the roadmap at customer meetings, conferences, and executive briefings.
- Partner with leadership to set Amazon S3 strategy.
Basic qualifications
- 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience.
- 5+ years working as a Technical Product Manager.
- 3+ years of technical experience in software development, network development, IT, or a related area.
- Experience taking a product from conception and definition through engineering design and market launch.
- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or LaaS products and owning the lifecycle from concept through go-to-market.
- Comfort facilitating executive-level reviews, analyzing data, and communicating ideas in writing.
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns across the software, hardware, or networks development lifecycle is preferred.
Compensation
- Listed salary range is USD 152,200–205,900 per year.
