Role overview

Lead a high-impact sales team serving Canadian mid-sized and midmarket accounts.

Own territory strategy, account segmentation, and coverage priorities while scaling a high-velocity sales motion.

Drive adoption and expansion of AWS's full-service portfolio by working backward from customer use cases.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration in customer accounts.
  • Hire and develop high-performing sales representatives focused on customer outcomes.
  • Build go-to-market initiatives with functional, specialist, and partner teams.
  • Set team strategy, plan market adoption, and adapt to emerging market trends.
  • Help identify product opportunities that better serve customers.

Basic qualifications

  • 10+ years of technology-related sales, business development, or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years managing and leading a quota-carrying sales team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Experience selling cloud, SaaS, or enterprise technology solutions to mid-market or enterprise customers.
  • Experience using CRM systems, such as Salesforce, for pipeline management and forecasting.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with C-level executives and cross-functional stakeholders on sizeable commercial or enterprise deals.
  • Experience leading commercial account sellers, ideally in inside sales, and scaling a team through growth.
  • Experience with co-sell or partner/channel motions, including ISVs, SIs, or marketplaces.
  • Experience positioning AI/GenAI solutions and driving adoption across customers.
  • Track record of developing early-career sellers and building a talent pipeline.
  • Data fluency using pipeline coverage, win rate, and deal-cycle metrics to improve performance and forecast accuracy.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, ambiguous, high-growth environment.

Compensation

  • The stated base salary range is CAD 161,700–218,300 annually.
  • Total compensation may include sign-on payments, restricted stock units, and sales incentives where applicable.
  • Benefits include health coverage, RRSP, DPSP, and paid time off.
