Join AWS Professional Services as a senior cloud application architect and delivery consultant.
Work with customers and AWS partners on enterprise cloud initiatives and customer business outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Guide and troubleshoot technical project delivery; gather requirements and assess infrastructure.
- Develop migration strategies, lead implementation, apply best practices, optimize performance, and manage risks.
- Advise customers on technology trends and solutions; mentor colleagues, train, and create reusable artifacts.
Basic qualifications
- At least 5 years of enterprise application modernization and migration experience, including areas such as mainframe, serverless, containers, or cloud operations.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle or large-scale software debugging, profiling, and engineering practices.
- Experience leading highly available deployments, large technical programs, and software development organizations using DevOps.
- Experience in Kubernetes, Docker, or containers; alternatively, virtualization and network protocols such as DNS, DHCP, or TCP.
- Experience with Windows Server; alternatively, REST API-based services and big data architecture.
- Experience developing cloud-native CI/CD workflows using tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, AWS CodeDeploy, or GitLab.
- Generative AI experience including foundation model integration, RAG, agent frameworks, and LLM tool-calling.
Preferred qualifications
- Data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL pipeline experience; partner or business development experience; or prior software, solution, or lead architect experience.
- AWS application architecture experience; application modernization with containers, serverless, or event-driven architectures; legacy assessment and decomposition; or database modernization.
