Join AWS Professional Services as a senior delivery consultant supporting customer cloud journeys and enterprise cloud adoption.
Design, implement, and manage AWS solutions aligned with customer technical requirements and business objectives.
Work with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network on enterprise cloud computing initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement complex, scalable, secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting throughout project delivery.
- Gather stakeholder requirements, assess infrastructure, and recommend AWS migration strategies.
- Advise customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions.
- Lead implementation, ensure best practices, optimize performance, and manage risks.
- Mentor and train colleagues and create reusable artifacts.
Basic qualifications
- Experience with the software development life cycle or debugging, profiling, and best practices in large-scale systems.
- Experience leading highly available, fault-tolerant enterprise or web-scale software deployments and large technical programs.
- Experience leading software development organizations in a DevOps model.
- 5+ years in enterprise application modernization and migration, including mainframe, serverless, containers, or cloud operations.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker/containers or virtualization, and network protocols such as DNS, DHCP, or TCP.
- Experience with Windows Server, or REST API-based services and big data architecture.
- Experience developing cloud-native CI/CD workflows using tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, AWS CodeDeploy, or GitLab.
- Generative AI experience with foundation model integration, RAG, agent frameworks, and LLM tool-calling.
Preferred qualifications
- Data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipeline experience; professional services or partner-facing experience.
- Prior software, solution, or lead architect experience and experience architecting applications on AWS.
- Experience modernizing applications with containers, serverless technologies, and event-driven architectures.
- Legacy application assessment and decomposition, and database modernization.
