The Specialized Facilitator - Training trains cleaning personnel in the correct use of cleaning tools, chemicals, machinery, and training materials.
The role improves cleaning standards across assigned contracts through instruction, competency assessment, and corrective guidance.
Training delivery and assessment
- Deliver lectures, briefings, toolbox talks, classroom sessions, demonstrations, and on-the-job coaching.
- Develop weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly training calendars and coordinate candidates, topics, dates, times, and locations with supervisors.
- Assess trainees using written tests, demonstrations, and workplace performance observations.
- Document training and assessments in required records and the company portal.
Quality and client coordination
- Conduct routine inspections of common areas, washrooms, janitor rooms, assets, amenities, offices, and back-of-house areas.
- Monitor performance through site inspections and post-training evaluations; provide coaching and corrective guidance.
- Attend client meetings, communicate training plans, address client observations, and share compliance issues with supervisors.
- Analyze feedback and inspection findings, report recurring issues, and recommend continuous improvements.
Selection criteria
- At least 2 years of cleaning supervisory experience in a high-end facility.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, tools, and machinery.
- Ability to deliver training and conduct presentations effectively.
- EPT Level 3 or above with good English communication skills.
Business outcomes
Effective training is intended to reduce complaints, rework, and operational costs while supporting contract retention and profitability.
Training methods should improve based on performance results and client feedback.
