Engineer - Facilities Management - Hard Services

Role scope

Financial and service performance

• Prepare monthly reports with operational data to review contract performance.
• Deliver FM services using agreed manpower resources and identify process improvements or cost savings.
• Monitor service delivery against contractual SLAs/KPIs and propose initiatives aligned with client business goals.

Customer and contract management

• Coordinate staff induction and continued training with supervisors and team leaders; record completed training in staff files.
• Monitor service-level agreements monthly, resolve or escalate issues, and coordinate procurement in line with company policies.
• Manage specialist contractors and vendors, report staff absences, and maintain regular client contact and meetings.
• Visit sites to assess staff performance and address client concerns about service quality.

Process and innovation

• Manage contract delivery in line with industry practices, FM standards, and local statutory guidelines.
• Order project equipment and machinery, control local purchase orders, and review the account monthly with the line manager.
• Monitor resource utilization, organize staff meetings and site briefings, and coordinate timely invoicing with central teams.
• Execute energy-management improvements and develop technology case studies and business proposals with ROI models.

Selection criteria

• Bachelor of Engineering or Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
• Valid driving license is mandatory; 3–5 years of experience in structured contract service delivery is required.
• Knowledge of CAFM systems and implementation of their full modules is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and report writing is required.
• Ability to handle ad-hoc and fit-out projects, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• IOSH, NEBOSH, or CFM certification is preferred.
