The Amazon Dedicated Cloud Engineering team builds automated platforms and solutions for AWS builds and deployments in dedicated regions.

Responsibilities
- Build automation and scripting support for operational tasks.
- Investigate customer issues and diagnose adverse metric trends.
- Explore ways to automate operational processes.
- Collaborate with AWS service teams on complex deployment engineering.
- Own systems end-to-end and contribute to scalable cloud deployments.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or CSSLP certification.
- At least 3 years of software development experience and at least 3 years of full-stack development experience.
- At least 2 years of systems design or architecture experience covering design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 2 years of Linux operating systems experience.
- Current, active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility or above.
- U.S. citizenship is required; the selected candidate must obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance with polygraph after starting.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of software development lifecycle experience across coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
- Experience with modern software development, web development frameworks, and APIs.
- At least 4 years of distributed systems experience.
Compensation
- Base salary is USD 143,700–194,400 annually.
- Total compensation may include sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
