Senior Software Engineer, AI-Native Development

The role

What you’ll own

• Build secure, scalable payment services for gateways, transaction processing, reconciliation, and settlement.
• Integrate POS systems, payment providers, financial partners, and other third-party platforms.
• Use AI-assisted tools for discovery, implementation, debugging, testing, review, documentation, and refactoring.
• Develop agentic workflows that retrieve data, call tools, and take controlled actions; add permissions, approvals, guardrails, observability, auditability, and fallbacks.
• Improve payment and AI workflow performance, reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Write clean, tested, documented code and contribute to technical design, architecture, and engineering standards.

Who you are and what you’ll need

• Have proven experience building production-grade software applications.
• Fluent in English and experienced with Golang.
• Have practical experience with LLM APIs, tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation, or agentic workflows.
• Know secure and scalable software design, REST APIs, microservices, asynchronous processing, distributed systems, and databases.
• Have experience with POS systems, payment providers, complex integrations, and production AI applications.
• Understand AI-system risks, including hallucinations, prompt injection, data leakage, non-deterministic behavior, and unsafe tool execution.
• Have experience with automated testing, observability, debugging, and performance optimization.

Nice to have

• Payments, fintech, hospitality technology, or high-growth marketplace experience.
• Payment gateways, transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, AI agents, model evaluation, prompt management, guardrails, or LLM cost optimization.
• Vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, retrieval systems, cloud platforms, containers, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, PCI DSS, data privacy, or secure software development.
• Modern React or frontend development experience.
