Oversee and manage on-site construction activities to meet approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and schedules.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities and construction works.
- Ensure construction follows approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress against the approved schedule; review drawings, technical documents, and specifications.
- Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations, health and safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship and materials; prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Coordinate with the project manager and engineering teams; monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and site resources.
- Document site activities, inspections, approvals, and changes; support testing, inspections, snagging, and handover.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum five years of UAE experience as a Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer, including experience with a UAE-based contracting company.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, site execution, technical drawings, and UAE construction standards and regulations.
- Ability to coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams; strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of relevant project management software is an advantage.
- A UAE driving licence is preferred.
