Role Overview

Drawing Production

• Prepare detailed shop, working, and as-built drawings for interior fit-out projects.
• Develop general arrangement drawings, floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, flooring and partition layouts, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Prepare joinery drawings for custom furniture, cabinets, wardrobes, counters, wall panels, doors, and other interior elements.
• Prepare drawings for ceilings, partitions, flooring, wall finishes, and other fit-out works.
• Prepare material layouts, setting-out drawings, and detailed construction drawings as required.

Coordination and Project Support

• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and MEP drawings to identify and resolve clashes.
• Review tender drawings, design drawings, specifications, and other project documents before preparing shop drawings.
• Visit sites and take measurements to verify actual conditions and drawing accuracy.
• Revise drawings according to client, consultant, project manager, and site team comments.
• Ensure drawings comply with approved designs, specifications, applicable UAE requirements, and company standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, designers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Provide technical clarifications and resolve drawing-related issues during execution.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision histories, and project documentation, and meet submission deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of UAE experience as a Fit-Out Draftsman in an interior fit-out contracting company.
• Proven experience preparing detailed shop and construction drawings for interior fit-out projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Knowledge of joinery, ceilings, partitions, flooring, wall finishes, construction materials, finishes, installation methods, and technical detailing.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other relevant drafting and 3D software is advantageous.
• Communication, coordination, problem-solving, and time-management skills; ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
