Senior Full Stack Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using React.js and Python and/or Node.js.
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and business logic integrated with AWS.
• Develop responsive React.js components and integrate RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
• Work with Lambda, Amplify, API Gateway, and RDS/MySQL on cloud-native applications.
• Implement real-time features with WebSockets and contribute to microservices, serverless, and event-driven designs.
• Optimize performance, scalability, reliability, and security across application components.
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, debugging, and technical documentation.
• Maintain CI/CD workflows and version control; troubleshoot issues and collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams.

Required qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of professional full-stack software development experience.
• Strong backend development expertise using Python and/or Node.js; hands-on React.js experience.
• Experience with component-based architecture, state management, reusable components, and responsive design.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL; practical experience with AWS Lambda, Amplify, API Gateway, and RDS/MySQL.
• Understanding of microservices, serverless computing, and event-driven application design; experience with WebSockets.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, Git, and version-control workflows; strong optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and development-priority management abilities.

Preferred qualifications

• Exposure to Docker and containerized application development.
• Familiarity with AWS CDK or AWS CloudFormation, Agile/Scrum, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and supporting code quality and engineering practices.
• Understanding of cloud security, application scalability, and software deployment practices.
