Senior Devops Engineer

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Manage production Azure environments, optimizing scalability, performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Integrate security controls, compliance checks, and vulnerability management into CI/CD workflows.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates; deploy Docker and Kubernetes workloads.
• Implement GitOps solutions using Helm, FluxCD, and ArgoCD.
• Build observability and monitoring using Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging.
• Support AI/ML and LLM infrastructure deployments, including Azure AI Foundry and Azure Machine Learning.
• Automate operations using PowerShell, Python, or Bash; manage GitHub repositories, branching, and SonarQube practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Support microservices and serverless architectures; maintain cloud security, governance, and operational best practices.
• Collaborate across development, security, infrastructure, and operations teams; participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement.

Required skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; at least 6 years of hands-on DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering experience.
• Strong Azure DevOps and CI/CD expertise, with extensive Azure production infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on IaC experience with Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates; experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, FluxCD, and ArgoCD.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps and security automation; expertise in Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Scripting and automation proficiency using PowerShell, Python, or Bash; understanding of Git workflows, GitHub, and SonarQube.
• Experience with microservices, serverless architectures, cloud-native deployment, and Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Azure AI Foundry and Azure Machine Learning infrastructure experience is highly preferred.
• Azure certifications, enterprise cloud migration and modernization, FinOps, MLOps, and high-availability or disaster-recovery experience are preferred.

Work location and model

• Full-time, onsite work in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
