Role overview
Senior individual-contributor Delivery Consultant and Cloud Infrastructure Architect on AWS Professional Services' Media & Entertainment team.
Serves as a trusted technical advisor, designing and delivering production-grade AWS architectures for media customers.
Works across live production, broadcast, playout, media supply chain, and OTT/streaming workloads.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical design and delivery of complex media and entertainment cloud solutions.
- Independently define technology strategy and solution design in ambiguous environments.
- Advise customers on strategy, architecture, and investment decisions and build trust with technical and executive stakeholders.
- Collaborate with AWS service teams, partners, and customers; identify platform gaps and inform service roadmaps.
- Create reusable assets, reference architectures, and public references from engagements.
- Mentor architects and contribute to technical community and best-practice education.
- Prototype, whiteboard with customers, coordinate delivery teams, write narratives, lead workstreams, and manage escalations.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or experience in a professional field or military.
- Experience as a technical specialist in design and architecture.
- Experience consulting on, designing, and implementing serverless distributed solutions.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS or equivalent), systems, networks, and operating systems.
- Customer-facing experience and experience managing complex, large-scale projects.
Preferred qualifications
- Production experience delivering AWS media services such as Elemental MediaLive, MediaConnect, MediaPackage, or MediaTailor.
- Broadcast, live production, media supply chain, or OTT/streaming domain experience.
- Technical leadership on complex, ambiguous transformation engagements across customer, partner, and internal teams.
