The role seeks an experienced accountant with a background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and real estate accounting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Monitor cash flow and manage bank reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Prepare and file tax returns and manage tax-related issues.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights for decisions.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate financial information.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA, ACCA, or CMA qualification required.
- At least 3 years of accounting experience; real estate or property management experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Microsoft Excel.
- Strong accounting principles and financial reporting knowledge.
- Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills; able to work independently and with a team.
Employment and pay
- Full-time position.
- Pay starts at AED 10,000 per month.
