The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving and exceeding branch unit sales and CSI targets.
The role oversees showroom operations and team management to maximize customer satisfaction and business growth.
The manager represents the company in the respective Emirate and maintains corporate standards and image.
Sales and customer experience
- Maintain location sales standards and customer satisfaction.
- Achieve or exceed branch unit sales and gross margin budgets.
- Ensure sales and prospecting systems are used and targets are met for prospects, trade-ins, and F&I products.
- Achieve sales-function customer satisfaction objectives and encourage repeat sales.
- Improve customer and associate engagement and resolve customer complaints.
Team and branch operations
- Guide, motivate, and manage location staff to maximize performance.
- Identify staff training and development needs and communicate them to management.
- Be accountable for branch employee engagement scores and human sigma level.
- Ensure correct cash and accounts receivable procedures and apply credit control policy to protect cash and reduce bad debts.
- Control new-vehicle stock for security and availability.
- Maintain premises and assets and ensure safety standards are followed.
Qualifications and experience
- Graduate in any discipline; an MBA is preferred.
- At least 9 years of direct-selling experience with consumer durables, primarily in the automotive industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in a managerial position.
- Able to lead sales executives, understand modern vehicle construction and features, and coach staff on selling techniques and customer care.
