Role overview

Customer assistance and sales

• Welcome customers and assist them in a friendly, professional manner.
• Understand customer needs, recommend suitable products, and provide accurate product, price, availability, and promotion information.
• Help customers select and purchase products and maintain knowledge of available products and services.
• Work toward individual and team sales targets and promote current offers, discounts, and new products.
• Handle customer questions, requests, and concerns professionally.

Transactions and store operations

• Process transactions using the POS system when required and assist with cash, card, and other approved payment methods.
• Issue receipts and assist with returns and exchanges according to company policy.
• Arrange merchandise, maintain displays, replenish shelves, and ensure correct pricing and labeling.
• Monitor stock availability, report shortages, receive and organize merchandise, and assist with stock counts.
• Keep the sales floor, shelves, and storage areas clean and organized; coordinate with cashiers, warehouse staff, and sales colleagues.
• Follow company policies and store procedures, report damaged products, pricing errors, and customer complaints, and assist with opening and closing.

Requirements and experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous sales associate, retail sales, or customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience in retail stores, supermarkets, malls, fashion outlets, electronics, or similar environments is advantageous.
• Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and willingness to learn may be considered.
• UAE retail experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage; additional retail sales or customer service training is beneficial.
• Good communication, a positive attitude, attention to detail, teamwork, and ability to work efficiently in a busy retail environment.
