Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and ensure smooth service.
• Supervise restaurant staff, schedule shifts, and train team members.
• Deliver professional, friendly, timely customer service and handle feedback and complaints.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, service, and dining-area cleanliness.
• Coordinate order preparation and service with kitchen staff and chefs.
• Monitor opening and closing procedures.
• Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, billing, and daily sales reconciliation.
• Monitor stock, conduct inventory counts, order supplies, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Monitor waste, operating costs, and inventory variances; prepare reports when needed.
• Support sales and operational targets.
• Maintain equipment and facilities and follow food safety, hygiene, health, and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain employee attendance and performance records; assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, F&B Supervisor, or similar.
• Understanding of restaurant and food-and-beverage operations and experience managing employees.
• Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, daily sales reporting, inventory management, and cost control.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Strong customer-service, problem-solving, leadership, and team-management abilities.
• Good written and verbal English communication; additional languages are advantageous.
• A relevant hospitality, hotel management, or business diploma or bachelor's degree is preferred.
• UAE hospitality experience is preferred.
• Able to work busy service periods and shifts, weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required.
