Role overview
Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies for Media and Marketing categories across the group.
Manage annual spend exceeding AED 100 million while aligning with procurement policies and strategic goals.
Partner with Marketing, Finance, and Corporate Services to manage vendors, compliance, value, and savings.
Sourcing and supplier management
- Set category sourcing strategies with cost-savings and service-level targets; lead RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and sourcing selection.
- Use financial acumen and market intelligence for budgeting and total-cost-of-ownership decisions.
- Manage complex supplier relationships and strategic contracts, protecting commercial and legal interests.
- Monitor compliance and risk, and drive supplier performance and collaboration.
Stakeholders and team
- Partner with stakeholders and align procurement work to business objectives using structured, fact-based recommendations.
- Lead, coach, and develop Procurement Executives in sourcing and negotiation.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; postgraduate study or recognized Procurement/Supply Chain certification is advantageous.
- Four to five or more years in procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing, focused on Marketing and Advertising.
- Experience managing complex projects, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and team coaching or management.
- Strategic thinking, procurement acumen, advanced negotiation, and category-strategy capability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and e-sourcing or ERP systems; strong stakeholder and cross-functional relationship skills.
