Experienced Procurement Manager sought for Oil & Gas, EPC, civil, and infrastructure projects.
The role manages the complete procurement cycle, supplier relationships, commercial negotiations, and timely procurement of project materials and services.
Responsibilities
- Manage project procurement and develop strategies and plans based on project requirements, schedules, and budgets.
- Manage RFQs, sourcing, technical and commercial bid evaluations, negotiations, and purchase orders.
- Identify and develop suppliers and subcontractors; negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, construction, commercial, finance, and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, quality, and compliance; review specifications, requisitions, BOQs, and project requirements.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, quotation comparisons, and purchasing documentation.
- Lead the procurement team, identify cost savings while protecting quality and project requirements, and report progress to senior management.
Requirements
- At least 10–12 years of relevant procurement experience.
- Strong Oil & Gas and EPC project experience, with proven civil and infrastructure project experience.
- Previous Procurement Manager or Senior Procurement experience.
- Knowledge of construction, civil, MEP, engineering, and project-related materials and equipment.
- Knowledge of RFQs, purchase orders, vendor evaluation, quotation comparison, negotiation, expediting, and supplier management.
- Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; experience with local and international suppliers and subcontractors.
- Qatar/GCC experience is an advantage; immediate joiners are highly preferred.
