The employer seeks an experienced Mechanical Supervisor for Oil & Gas or construction projects.
The role requires 6–7 years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of mechanical installation, site supervision, manpower coordination, and project execution.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily mechanical installation, maintenance, and construction activities at the project site.
- Coordinate and monitor technicians, fitters, pipe fitters, and other mechanical workers.
- Ensure mechanical work follows approved drawings, project specifications, and schedules.
- Monitor work progress and prepare daily progress reports.
- Coordinate with mechanical engineers, QA/QC inspectors, HSE officers, and other site teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and permit-to-work requirements.
- Inspect ongoing work and resolve site technical issues in coordination with the engineering team.
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials at the worksite.
Requirements
- 6–7 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in Oil & Gas or construction projects.
- A diploma or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Good knowledge of mechanical installation, piping, equipment installation, and maintenance activities.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience in manpower supervision, work planning, and site coordination.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Candidates currently available in Qatar are preferred.
