The Procurement Executive is in the Procurement & Logistics department.
The role handles local procurement across automotive, office, equipment, and facility needs.
Responsibilities
- Source suppliers, obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate purchasing terms.
- Coordinate purchasing and shipments with suppliers, internal teams, and logistics partners.
- Support shipping, import/export documentation, freight forwarding, and shipment tracking; this is approximately 20% of the role.
- Prepare purchase orders, supplier records, price comparisons, and regular procurement reports using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Monitor orders, costs, delivery timelines, and supplier performance.
Qualifications and experience
- Diploma or degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration.
- UAE procurement experience; automotive experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of shipping, freight forwarding, import/export, and price negotiation.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- English and Hindi are mandatory; Arabic is an advantage.
- Reliable commute to Ras Al Khor or plans to relocate before starting are required.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 5,000–7,000 per month.
