Abu Alnaga Contracting is hiring a Construction Planning Engineer in Dubai, UAE.
The role develops and maintains project baseline programmes, monitors construction progress, and supports timely achievement of project milestones.
Full-time role; work location is in person.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and update project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Monitor construction progress and compare actual work against planned work.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, and look-ahead plans.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement teams, and subcontractors.
- Support resource planning, recovery schedules, and Extension of Time claims.
- Support delivery within approved timelines and contractual milestones.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of UAE or GCC planning experience; high-rise or large-scale project experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel; MS PowerPoint for reporting.
- Ability to interpret civil, structural, and MEP construction drawings.
- Strong analytical, time-management, and organizational capabilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; proactive attitude.
