Role overview

Check shipment information

• Receive, record, and validate customer orders and create routing plans according to Customer Operation Support instructions.
• Coordinate with network offices to collect documents and shipment updates and arrange shipments with clients.
• Manage shipments from origin country until delivery.
• Coordinate land, marine, and air operations crews across locations.
• Ensure compliance with local import and export customs regulations for equipment and materials.
• Identify technological and process improvements to service and cost.

Handle and monitor shipments

• Check cargo availability with network offices and confirm shipments can proceed.
• Coordinate out-of-scope requests, negotiate network rates, file client rates, and obtain necessary approvals.
• Troubleshoot service deviations, escalate issues, and centralize and follow up on claims.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support, including after office hours and public holidays, for AOG situations.
• Monitor shipments using the Link tracker, intervene on deviations, and deploy recovery plans with the network and client.
• Follow up on missing key data and ensure tracking information is updated.
• Report damages, raise claims, and update and circulate SOPs when scope changes.

Invoices and reporting

• Maintain statement-of-account files with current invoices and submit them to Dnata for final review.
• Resolve rate discrepancies and invoice disputes between the network and client.
• Reconcile invoices weekly to support timely payment under agreed credit terms.
• Hold weekly coordination meetings with overseas network teams to review invoice disputes and track resolution.
