MEP Procurement Engineer for construction projects in Dubai, UAE.
Requires strong MEP procurement experience, supplier coordination, and an established UAE supplier, vendor, subcontractor, and material-source network.
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement for MEP and construction project requirements; source, evaluate, negotiate, and coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Maintain supplier sources for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-fighting, ELV, and general construction materials.
- Prepare RFQs, quotation comparison sheets, LPOs, procurement reports, and supplier evaluation records.
- Seek new suppliers, better prices, alternative materials, and faster delivery options.
- Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, and accounts for timely procurement.
- Follow up on quotations, delivery schedules, material submittals, technical documents, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Ensure timely site delivery; verify materials against project specifications, approved brands, and client requirements.
- Negotiate competitive prices while protecting quality, and maintain procurement and delivery documentation.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of MEP materials, suppliers, and the UAE market.
- Good negotiation, communication, and vendor-management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant procurement experience in MEP construction or projects.
- ERP or procurement-system experience is advantageous.
- Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
Pay
- AED 5,000–7,500 per month.

- Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
