Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
- Review tender documents, specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and material quantity calculations.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Prepare cost breakdowns, pricing schedules, and tender submissions.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, suppliers, and procurement teams.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure accurate project costing.
- Analyze tender requirements, inclusions, exclusions, and commercial terms.
- Maintain estimation records and submit quotations on time.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of UAE MEP estimation experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards, market rates, and supplier pricing.
- Experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and relevant estimation software.
- Ability to interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Strong analytical, numerical, problem-solving, communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tender submission deadlines.
