The employer is hiring an MEP Coordination Draftsman for its Dubai team.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of relevant UAE experience.
- Strong experience in MEP drafting and coordination.
- Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other MEP services.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and relevant BIM/CAD software.
- Experience preparing coordinated MEP shop drawings.
- Good understanding of clash detection and resolution.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, engineers and site teams.
- Knowledge of UAE construction requirements and standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred; immediate joiners are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and update coordinated MEP shop drawings.
- Coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other MEP services.
- Review drawings and identify potential clashes before site execution.
- Prepare detailed coordination drawings based on project requirements.
- Incorporate consultant, contractor and site comments into drawings.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, engineers and site teams.
- Support BIM coordination and clash resolution activities.
- Assist in preparing as-built and record drawings when required.
- Maintain accurate and updated project drawings and documentation.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and BIM/CAD standards.
- Support the project team in meeting drawing submission deadlines.
Pay and employment
- Pay is AED 4,700–7,000 per month.
