Universal BIM seeks an Electrical BIM Modeler for building and MEP projects in Dubai, UAE.
The role is full-time and the posting states a salary of AED 3,700–7,500 per month.
Experience and availability
- Minimum 4–5 years of UAE experience as an Electrical BIM Modeler; candidates must currently be based in the UAE.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
Technical requirements
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and experience developing detailed electrical BIM models for building and MEP projects.
- Knowledge of lighting, power, containment, cable trays, electrical equipment, layouts, single-line diagrams, and schematics.
- Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection; proficiency in Navisworks.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project requirements and coordinate across MEP disciplines.
- Knowledge of BIM standards, modeling practices, and LOD requirements; attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Modeling and coordination
- Develop and maintain electrical BIM models in Revit MEP and model electrical systems from drawings and project requirements.
- Coordinate models with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and other MEP disciplines; perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues.
- Incorporate design changes and engineer comments; produce plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules.
- Maintain accuracy, project standards, naming conventions, and LOD requirements; support BIM Coordinators and Electrical Engineers.
- Deliver models and drawings according to project schedules.
Pay
- Pay is AED 3,700–7,500 per month.

- Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
