Role overview

Requirements and preferences

• Minimum 4–5 years of UAE experience as a Mechanical BIM Modeler; candidates must currently be based in the UAE.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and experience creating detailed mechanical BIM models for building and MEP projects.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, mechanical layouts, equipment, piping, ductwork, and associated services.
• Experience with BIM coordination, clash detection, and coordination with architectural, structural, electrical, and other MEP disciplines.
• Ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, modeling practices, and LOD requirements; attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Navisworks and BIM coordination workflows are described as required/preferred.
• Immediate joiners are preferred. A separate experience field lists UAE experience of 1 year as preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate Mechanical BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Model HVAC, ductwork, chilled-water piping, plumbing, firefighting, equipment, and other mechanical services.
• Prepare models from engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements; coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, and other MEP disciplines.
• Perform clash detection, resolve coordination issues, and incorporate design changes, engineer comments, and revisions.
• Produce plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules; maintain model accuracy, standards, naming conventions, and project requirements.
• Assist BIM Coordinators and Engineers with technical modeling and coordination, and deliver models and drawings on schedule.

Compensation

• Pay is listed as AED 4,000–7,500 per month.
