Mechanical BIM Modeler

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate 3D mechanical BIM models in Revit MEP and model HVAC and mechanical MEP systems from design drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain Revit models through the project lifecycle; update models for design changes, site conditions, and consultant comments.
• Coordinate mechanical models with architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing disciplines; participate in clash detection and resolve clashes.
• Prepare mechanical shop drawings, plans, sections, details, and schedules from BIM models.
• Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, LOD requirements, and company standards.
• Coordinate with BIM coordinators, engineers, draftsmen, consultants, and site teams.
• Assist with as-built BIM models and documentation; maintain model versions, revisions, and project records.
• Complete accurate modeling work within project deadlines.

Requirements

• Mandatory: 4–5 years of relevant UAE experience as a Mechanical BIM Modeler.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, MEP, or a related field; strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Good knowledge of HVAC and mechanical MEP systems; experience with MEP coordination, clash detection, BIM models, and MEP shop drawings.
• Good understanding of UAE construction practices and project requirements; ability to interpret mechanical, architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Navisworks knowledge is preferred. Knowledge of BIM standards and LOD requirements is an advantage.
• Strong coordination and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE and immediate joiners are preferred.
