Universal BIM & CAD Technical Solutions LLC seeks an experienced HVAC Draftsman in Dubai.
The full-time role requires 4–5 years of UAE experience. Work location is in person.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed HVAC drawings in AutoCAD, including shop, coordination, installation, and as-built drawings.
- Prepare layouts for ductwork, chilled water and refrigerant piping, equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Coordinate HVAC drawings with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and other MEP services.
- Prepare duct layouts, sections, details, equipment layouts, and schedules.
- Revise drawings based on consultant, contractor, engineer, and site comments; use approved designs, specifications, and site conditions.
- Coordinate with engineers, BIM modelers, site teams, consultants, and contractors; assist with HVAC coordination and drawing issues.
- Check drawing accuracy, dimensions, levels, layouts, and technical details; comply with project specifications and UAE standards.
- Maintain drawing revisions and project documentation; complete drawings accurately within deadlines.
Requirements and qualifications
- Mandatory: 4–5 years of relevant UAE experience as an HVAC Draftsman.
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, MEP, or Drafting.
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency and good knowledge of HVAC systems and MEP services.
- Experience preparing HVAC shop drawings and coordination drawings.
- Understanding of ductwork, chilled water piping, ventilation, and HVAC equipment layouts.
- Knowledge of UAE construction practices, standards, and consultant requirements; able to read HVAC and MEP engineering drawings.
- Revit MEP or BIM knowledge is advantageous.
- Good communication and coordination skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Candidates currently available in the UAE and immediate joiners are preferred.
