Responsibilities
- Prepare interior design and fit-out drawings in AutoCAD, including plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, and details.
- Detail partitions, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, doors, and other interior elements.
- Prepare joinery and furniture shop drawings for custom furniture, counters, wardrobes, cabinets, and related work.
- Coordinate ID drawings with architectural, structural, MEP, and other services; coordinate with designers, engineers, site teams, consultants, and contractors.
- Revise drawings in response to consultant, client, contractor, and site comments; use approved designs, specifications, and site conditions.
- Assist with drawing and technical issues during construction; ensure accuracy and project compliance.
- Maintain drawing revisions and project documentation; prepare as-built drawings based on actual site conditions.
- Complete drawings accurately within project deadlines.
Requirements and qualifications
- Mandatory: 4–5 years of relevant UAE experience as an ID Draftsman.
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Drafting.
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency and knowledge of interior fit-out and construction detailing.
- Experience preparing interior design, fit-out, and joinery shop drawings.
- Understanding of materials, finishes, ceiling details, partitions, flooring, and joinery; able to read architectural and interior design drawings.
- Knowledge of UAE construction and fit-out practices; strong communication, coordination, and attention to detail.
- Revit, SketchUp, or 3D software knowledge is advantageous.
- Candidates currently available in the UAE and immediate joiners are preferred.
