Universal BIM & CAD Technical Solutions LLC is hiring an Electrical Draftsman in Dubai, UAE.
The role is full-time and requires 4–5 years of relevant UAE experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical drawings in AutoCAD, including shop, coordination, installation, and as-built drawings.
- Produce drawings for lighting, power, small power, cable containment, and other electrical systems.
- Coordinate electrical drawings with architectural, structural, HVAC, plumbing, and other MEP services.
- Revise drawings based on consultant, contractor, engineer, and site comments; use approved designs, specifications, and site conditions.
- Coordinate with engineers, BIM modelers, site teams, consultants, and contractors; help resolve technical and drawing-related issues.
- Check compliance with project specifications and UAE standards; review accuracy, dimensions, levels, layouts, and technical details.
- Maintain revisions and project documentation, and complete accurate drawings by project deadlines.
Requirements
- Mandatory: 4–5 years of relevant UAE experience as an Electrical Draftsman.
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, MEP, or Drafting.
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency; knowledge of electrical MEP systems and electrical shop and coordination drawings.
- Knowledge of lighting, power, small power, cable tray, containment, electrical layouts, UAE construction practices, standards, and consultant requirements.
- Ability to read electrical/MEP engineering drawings; good communication and coordination skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Revit MEP / BIM knowledge is an advantage.
- Candidates currently available in the UAE and immediate joiners are preferred.

- Dubai, UAE; work location is in person.
