Supports wire harness manufacturing, integration, testing, and quality activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide production teams with technical support during manufacturing.
- Interpret wiring diagrams and specifications; collaborate on integrating harnesses into larger systems.
- Test harness functionality and reliability; troubleshoot shorts, interference, and other wiring problems.
- Verify finished-product compliance with client standards, regulations, and specifications.
- Apply data-driven troubleshooting to quality issues and follow safety procedures.
- Report project progress and issue resolutions; direct technician and plant personnel activities.
- Support supplied services related to wire harness work.
Required qualifications
- Hands-on wire harness troubleshooting experience and experience creating harness operation layouts.
- Hands-on dimensional verification experience with wire harness components.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with engineers, technicians, and management.
- Ability to learn processes quickly and solve problems in cost- and time-sensitive conditions.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working with U.S. and Chinese suppliers is preferred.
- Statistical analysis experience for improving product quality or production results is preferred.
- English proficiency is preferred; Mandarin is a plus.
