Manage hotel IT services and implement hotel-specific plans aligned with group IT strategy.
The role oversees IT support, infrastructure, systems, AV services, and daily department operations.
Responsibilities
- Implement IT plans, service-level agreements, quality controls, and group-wide systems within budget and timelines.
- Assess and update IT systems for security, scalability, capacity, and reliability.
- Manage colleague and guest support, access control, hardware configuration, and escalated problem resolution.
- Oversee LAN, WAN, and interconnect infrastructure operations, installation, and maintenance.
- Manage AV setup and troubleshooting for meetings and events; coordinate support for VIPs, conferences, and presentations.
- Guide IT department staff, coordinate with stakeholders, and improve processes and productivity.
- Follow health, safety, and environment procedures; implement approved departmental policies and controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent; a master's degree in a related field is also listed.
- MCP or equivalent professional certification.
- At least 3 years of IT experience; international hospitality or blue-chip experience is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of IT processes, including applications, databases, and support; advanced understanding of ICT and IT security standards.
- Understanding of hotel operations and IT requirements for guest information management and loyalty programs.
- Good budgeting and planning skills and outstanding interpersonal skills.
