Al-Futtaim Real Estate is seeking a Head of Learning and Development to build a true learning organisation and strengthen capabilities for current and future needs.
The role aligns divisional learning with Group priorities and connects development to performance, talent, succession, and career growth.
The role influences senior leaders and creates development and career pathways across varied professions and markets.
What You Will Do
- Build a multi-year learning roadmap supporting business priorities and continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, and development ownership.
- Lead Group and divisional programmes in AI, management, leadership, and soft skills.
- Create targeted national talent programmes that accelerate capability, readiness, retention, and career progression.
- Develop practical learning for Asset Development, Asset Management, Construction, and Engineering.
- Link development plans to talent reviews, succession, high-potential programmes, internal mobility, and career pathways.
- Partner with professional bodies and internal experts to establish recognised accreditation programmes for priority real estate roles.
- Manage the L&D team, budget, platforms, vendors, and governance while using data to improve participation, capability, and business outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong strategic, commercial, and digital learning capability, including learning technologies, analytics, and responsible use of AI.
- Excellent stakeholder influence, team leadership, programme governance, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Fluent English is required; Arabic is advantageous.
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Business, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- A relevant master’s degree or professional certification is preferred.
- The role requires 12 or more years of experience in learning, organisational capability, or talent development, including at least five years in a senior leadership role.
- Enterprise learning strategy experience in a complex, multi-business environment is required.
- Experience in leadership development, national talent programmes, career development, succession-linked learning, technical academies, or accreditation pathways is required.
- Real estate, construction, engineering, or another asset-intensive sector experience is strongly preferred.
