Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services.
- Represent AWS within customer environments and lead discussions with senior leadership about incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk.
- Provide strategic technical guidance for planning and building solutions with best practices.
- Proactively maintain customers' AWS environments in operationally healthy condition.
- Understand customers' operational, business, and technical challenges and help them maximize AWS value.
- Support customer innovation and transformation across services such as EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, and IoT.
- Travel 10% or more as needed.
Basic qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience designing, implementing, operating, or consulting on distributed applications.
- At least 5 years of technical engineering experience.
- Fluency in French and English is required for global and cross-provincial stakeholder interaction.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment.
- Experience as a technical lead in an internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment.
Compensation
- The Toronto base salary range is CAD 126,000 to CAD 210,400 annually.
- Total compensation may include sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
