AWS Enterprise Support seeks a Senior Technical Account Manager to serve as a principal technical advisor and customer advocate, not a sales representative.

Responsibilities
- Help customers adopt and use AWS services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, CDN, and IoT.
- Represent AWS in customer environments and discuss incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk management with senior leaders.
- Provide strategic technical guidance and recommend best-practice solutions.
- Proactively maintain customers’ AWS environments in good operational health.
- Understand customer business, operational, and technical challenges and help them achieve value from AWS.
- Travel approximately 10% or more as needed.
Basic qualifications
- 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, operating, or consulting on distributed applications.
- 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment.
- Experience as a technical lead in an internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment.
Compensation
- Annual base salary range is CAD 126,000–210,400 for both Ontario and Quebec locations; total compensation may include sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
