Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions for mechanical systems and projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify scope and requirements.
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare material, equipment, and labor cost breakdowns.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, and Projects teams on proposals.
- Identify cost savings while complying with project specifications and standards.
- Follow up on tender clarifications, technical queries, and deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Two years of experience in mechanical estimation, firefighting, or MEP estimation.
- Relevant mechanical estimation experience, preferably in firefighting or MEP.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, cost estimation, and tendering procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and relevant estimation tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Qatar market experience is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is listed as QAR 1.00–QAR 2.00 per month.
