The Reception Supervisor optimizes workshop labor and resources to meet operational efficiency targets.
The role supervises service advisors, supports customer satisfaction and financial performance, and coordinates with Parts and warranty functions.
What you will do
- Ensure repairs and service meet quality and safety guidelines.
- Promote customer-centric service by service advisors and aftersales executives.
- Monitor MHE up-down time and customer post-service feedback.
- Review pre-order forms and coordinate parts availability with the Parts department.
- Monitor warranty jobs, review job cards, and facilitate warranty claims.
- Improve service and parts gross margin, service contract ratio, parts sales, and accessories sales against targets.
- Track performance using BIW reports and monthly KPI dashboards.
- Enforce departmental procedures and organize resources for peak demand and high service volumes.
Qualifications and experience
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive, or a related field.
- At least four years of experience as a Reception Supervisor or Manager in the automotive sector.
- Experience managing 10–15 staff in an aftersales environment; MHE business experience is preferred.
- Strong vehicle diagnosis and repair knowledge, analytical ability, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP; valid UAE driver’s license.
