Overview
For our client, we are seeking a Director Of Performance Management to join the team of a leader in the Legal & Accounting space.
This role will own compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that help attract, retain, and motivate talent at scale.
You will partner with people leaders, finance, and executive stakeholders to align rewards programs with business needs and employee experience.
The position offers the opportunity to strengthen pay practices, improve program governance, and create more consistent outcomes across the organization within a Legal & Accounting environment.
Location: Los Angeles, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $200,000 – $260,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee a performance management program aligned with the Firm's goals
- Lead continuous improvement efforts for performance management processes across the Firm
- Develop and maintain performance evaluation tools and oversee feedback mechanisms
- Review and revise core competencies for performance evaluations
- Partner with Firm leaders to establish individual performance goals
- Oversee the advancement process for associates and participate in compensation decisions
- Coach evaluators on providing performance feedback and develop training programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, JD highly preferred
- 12+ years of experience in performance management or related fields, preferably in a legal environment
- Proven experience designing and implementing performance management programs in a professional services context
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed organization
