For our client, we are seeking a Chief Of Pharmacy to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.
This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success.
You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency.
The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a healthcare environment.
Location: Tacoma, WA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $346,000 – $444,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Define and refine strategic direction for MHS Pharmacy
- Scan and assess external environment for market opportunities
- Bring forward innovative approaches for growth and safety
- Participate in development of new pharmacy-related services and programs
- Identify and strategize potential retail pharmacy partnerships
- Translate strategy into annual and multi-year objectives
- Oversee all contracting activities related to Acute Pharmacy department
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
- Current Washington State Pharmacist License or eligible for licensure within 3 months
- Preferred Master's degree in Hospital Administration, business or related field
- Ten years of progressively responsible management experience
- At least five years as a senior level executive in pharmacy operations
- Significant experience in a complex health system
- Experience integrating programs and services for greater system and customer value
