The employer seeks a friendly, responsible, trustworthy, and detail-oriented candidate who is comfortable working with numbers and providing professional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers politely and professionally.
- Process cash, card, and other approved payments; issue receipts, invoices, and payment confirmations.
- Count cash at the start and end of shifts and maintain the cash drawer and transaction records.
- Verify prices, quantities, discounts, and payment amounts.
- Answer payment and transaction questions; process returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policy.
- Report cash differences or transaction errors to the supervisor.
- Maintain daily sales and payment records and assist with daily cash and sales reports.
- Coordinate with sales and accounts teams when required.
- Keep the counter clean and organized; handle company and customer information confidentially.
- Follow cash-handling and security procedures and assist with other store or administrative duties as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier, sales assistant, or similar experience is preferred.
- Basic mathematical and calculation skills.
- Cash and card transaction experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with POS systems is preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge and good English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy; professional, customer-friendly approach.
- Ability to work efficiently during busy periods.
- UAE experience is an advantage but is not mandatory.
