Recruiting an Assistant Manager - Soft Services for the Total Facilities Management team in Dubai.
Responsible for managing and supporting daily division operations and resolving issues or conflicts to maintain client and customer service levels.
Financial and customer responsibilities
- Assist in managing cleaning-operation budgets and expenses, optimize costs while maintaining quality, and keep cleaning supplies and equipment adequately stocked.
- Resolve cleanliness complaints promptly and professionally; inspect facilities, assess standards, identify improvements, and implement corrective measures.
Process and team responsibilities
- Plan daily cleaning schedules and allocate resources with the Account Manager; supervise and train cleaning staff and provide performance feedback.
- Ensure PPM and SR are closed by target times; develop cleaning procedures and best practices with the Account Manager and ensure compliance.
- Maintain cleaning activity records, including attendance, evaluations, and incident reports, and promote health and safety for the cleaning team.
- Prepare monthly staff meetings and daily or weekly briefings with managers, coordinators, and senior supervisors.

- Stay updated on industry trends, cleaning techniques, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Selection criteria
- At least 7 years in facilities management in a managerial position and at least 2 years in mall management in a managerial position.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in facilities management and BICSc training certificate.
- Good knowledge of heavy-duty cleaning machines, cleaning chemicals, cleaning procedures, and methods.
- Proven project management skills and experience leading continuous improvement projects, with commercial and contract awareness.
