The College of Business invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor in Strategy and Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deliver, and evaluate courses in Strategy and Strategic Marketing; evaluate student progress and manage learning resources.
- Engage with industry and educational institutions, participate in advisory committees, and coordinate program projects.
- Maintain accreditation course portfolios and contribute to instructional improvement and professional and community life.
Education and experience
- PhD in Strategy, Marketing, or related discipline from an internationally recognized university, plus an accredited undergraduate degree.
- At least 3 years teaching in post-secondary, adult-training, or industry-training settings.
- Both ranks require a distinguished research record, top-tier journal publications, research student supervision, and demonstrated industry partnership leadership.
- Digital marketing experience is described as preferred; criteria for the two ranks vary in wording.
Required capabilities
- Commitment to applied, experiential learning and ability to design, deliver, and evaluate authentic learning and assessments.
- Digital literacy and fluency with technology systems and tools for research and learning.
- Communication, collaboration, relationship-building, and ability to initiate applied research.
Preferred qualifications
- Education diploma, relevant practitioner experience, teaching experience, and leadership or innovation in technology-based projects are preferred.
