Role overview
The Female Wellness Instructor designs and delivers holistic programs supporting guests’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being through fitness, yoga, meditation, and lifestyle practices.
Guest experience and instruction
- Conduct group and individual sessions, including yoga, meditation, Pilates, stretching, breathwork, and mindfulness.
- Provide tailored wellness guidance, motivate guests across experience levels, and share practices they can continue after their stay.
Program development
- Design a wellness activity calendar aligned with guest profiles, brand positioning, and seasonal events.
- Collaborate with Spa, Fitness, and Entertainment teams; develop signature programs, retreats, and themed events.
Operations and guest relations
- Keep wellness areas clean, safe, and prepared; maintain equipment and props and follow health, safety, hygiene, and brand standards.
- Build guest connections through guidance and encouragement, and collect feedback to improve the wellness experience.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 2–3 years as a fitness instructor or personal trainer; luxury hospitality experience is preferred.
- A recognized fitness training, personal training, or related certification is required.
- Yoga, Pilates, or specialized wellness certifications are advantageous; pre-opening experience is a plus.
Skills and competencies
- Strong knowledge of fitness techniques, training programs, and wellness practices.
- Communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills; ability to motivate guests and work collaboratively.
- High attention to safety and service quality; adaptable, reliable, professional, and guest-focused.
