Key Responsibilities
- Manage receipt, storage, and issuance of food ingredients, beverages, packaging, cleaning supplies, and other catering items.
- Maintain inventory records and stock levels to prevent shortages and overstocking.
- Check incoming food products for quality, quantity, and expiry dates.
- Apply proper storage, temperature control, FIFO, and FEFO procedures.
- Coordinate with kitchen, purchasing, and catering teams to ensure supplies are available on time.
- Monitor consumption, prepare inventory reports, conduct stock counts, and report discrepancies or expired and damaged items.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, hygiene, pest control, and food-safety standards.
- Organize and supervise loading and dispatch for catering events and daily operations.
- Document goods received, stock issued, and supplier deliveries; follow company policies and food-safety procedures.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of warehouse or inventory management experience.
- Catering, restaurant, hotel, or food-service experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food storage, stock rotation, and expiry-date monitoring.
- Familiarity with FIFO and FEFO inventory methods.
- Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
- Good organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced catering environment and meet operational deadlines.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
Pay
- AED 4,500–5,000 per month.
